    The hotel breakfast could use a serious overhaul, just abysmal. The carpets are in need of replacement, grungy. And for a place claiming such grandeur, don't expect any complimentary gestures-definitely feels like I'm just another number. I almost considered giving a good review, but just couldn't with these glaring issues around.

    Closeness to the Holy Mosque of Prophet Mohammad. It was clean, no delay in check-in or out. Staff were O.K.

    Internet was not available in rooms as claimed, only in the lobby. Hand towels needed to be requested. The water boiler plug was not working needed fixing which about 2 hours. We requested rooms that are connected or at least on the same floor but that was not provided.

    Just a solid selection for a fleeting pause in Medina with best value for money ratio. The room had an very nice ambiance with a lovely view of the Haram, made my stay more special. Pack your own coffee pods for the in-room Nespresso machine to avoid disappointment.
